These versatile lightweight heating tools provide instant heat from 392°F. Excellent for service and maintenance such as soldering, brazing, shrink-tubing, plastic welding, insulated solder preforms, plus many other applications. All models can be used as a soldering iron, or as a flameless heating tool simply by changing tips. Torch operation is also possible but only with models UT50, UT100, and UT200. The soldering tip temperature ranges from 392° to 900°F, the heating tip reaches 1292°F (max), and the torch tip can deliver up to 2372°F. Pocket-size Model UT50 is ideal when used as a field-service soldering iron and comes with soldering tip and protective cap. Model UT100 comes with one soldering tip, sponge, and metal carrying case. Model UT200 comes with soldering tip, and protective cap. Model UT40SI, UT100SI & UT200SI feature self-igniting mechanism, soldering tip, heat tip, and protective cap. All models operate on Butane lighter fuel and have a window to monitor the gas level. Butane must be ordered separately.
