These luminescent fiberglass rods are manufactured to glow in the dark, making fishing voice, data and video wires easier in dark spaces such as above ceilings, in walls, and below sub-floors. The smaller 3/16" diameter fiberglass rods also makes the Glo Stix more flexible for fishing into an outlet box and up through a wall. The Glo Stix kit comes with a bullet nose tip for pushing through insulated walls, under carpet, or above ceilings and a hook nose tip for hooking onto wire above ceilings or under raised floors. The Glo Stix kit includes three, five-foot fiberglass sections that thread together for a total of fifteen feet and individual 5' Glo Stix are available for additional length. There is a 200-pound minimum pulling strength for long lasting durability. The Glo Stix come in a clear non-metallic storage tube that keeps each Glo Stix charged and ready to use.
