Series POSIPEN Coating Thickness Gauges

PosiPen measures non-magnetic coatings such as paint, enamel, plating, hot-dip galvanizing on steel. It is ideal for measurements on small parts, on peaks and in valleys, on hot surfaces or in hard-toreach locations. Just like a ball point pen, it is always there when you need it.

Two versions of PosiPen are available. One model is for measurements on surfaces with normal temperatures; the other is for measurements on surfaces with extreme temperatures, that is, between -150 and +450°F or between -100 and +230°C. Each model has two scales and is calibrated to NIST calibration standards.

A triple indicator has been incorporated to compensate for the effects of gravity when using the PosiPen in different positions.

Easy-to-use. Place the tip of the PosiPen on the coated surface and allow the magnet to contact. Pull the PosiPen straight from the object to be measured while keeping close watch on the appropriate indicator. Note the reading when the magnet releases
