On Selecting Shipping Cases

Step 1: Measure your equipment (L x W x H).

Step 2: Add 4" to each dimension. These "New Dimensions" determine the minimum size of the case you require. This allows for 2" of foam on all sides of your equipment (the recommended amount for protection against shock and vibration).

Step 3: Select your case style preference: Attache, Foot Locker, Square Box, or Combo Style.

Step 4: Find case size that closest matches the dimensions you calculated in Step 2. Case size must not be smaller than those dimensions.

Step 5: Choose either Foam-Lined or Foam-Filled cases (Cases are also available without foam. Just ask your Customer Service Representative).

Foam Lined Cases come lined with 2" of foam on all sides. These cases are commonly selected to ship a single item or group of easily packaged products.

Foam Filled Cases are completely filled with 2" layers of foam that can be cut to match the exact contour of your equipment. For your convenience, each case is shipped with a snap-off blade utility knife. Foam filled cases are better suited for delicate or irregularly shaped items.

A safe, economical way to ship electronic devices, computer peripherals, or other sensitive equipment. Containers are filled with dense 2 lb. foam. Made of lightweight high-density polyethylene, similar to airline shipping containers. Strong male/female closures and full-length piano hinges. Clear anodized hardware resists corrosion. Quarter-turn military style latches, molded-in ridges. Spring-loaded steel handles. Rubber gasket helps seal out dirt and moisture. Permanent non-chip white finish is impervious to solvents. Assorted shipping decals (arrows, delicate unit, handle with care) are included. Padlockable.
