A handheld battery-powered unit for testing coaxial cable assemblies. It is suitable for "thin net" applications as well as CATV and RF/Microwave broadcast. It will indicate an inner conductor open circuit, outer conductor open circuit, short circuit faults and determine which end of the cable that the fault is situated. A double tone will sound if the cable passes. Test sequence is performed every 200ms to ensure intermittent faults are detected and located. 4.3 x 2.5 x 1".
