A must for every technician, service provider and installer. Quickly test for Fast Ethernet (100BaseTX) and Standard Ethernet (10baseT) links. Insert into a hub, switch, NIC, wall outlet or attach to cable with RJ-45 coupler. In just seconds, the LanMaster decodes the link signlas and displays the exact coonfiguration of the equipment connected to the link, as well as verifying link connectivity to the far end. It tests for reported faults and determines polarity of the outlet or cable. 226-012 also includes a transmit mode that generates a Link Activatin signal to identify hub/switch port connections to a wall outlet, a tone signal generator for tracing cables, and it identifies typoe of Link signal for proper equipment configuration and improved network performance. Includes RJ-45 coupler, flexible RJ-45 connection and 9V battery. Optional case includes RJ-45 coupler and extension cord.
